Deuter Futura Pro Hiking Backpack, Ivy-khaki, 36 L

Deuter Futura Pro 36 L hiking backpack with Aircomfort support

A 36 L hiking backpack with an Aircomfort mesh back, supportive hip fins and hydration system compatibility.

The Deuter Futura Pro is a 36 litre hiking backpack designed to carry comfortably on longer walks and day hikes. The Ivy-khaki colour gives it a restrained outdoor look, while the support system is built around ventilation, load transfer and a stable fit.

Comfort and carry support

The Aircomfort mesh-back system is made to improve ventilation against your back, which can make a noticeable difference on warmer climbs or fuller days out. A spring steel frame helps transfer the load to the hip supports, while the Active Comfort Fit Back System uses movable shoulder straps for a more comfortable, stable carry.

Movable VariFlex hip supports are designed to sit snugly on the hips and spread the weight more evenly. That makes the pack better suited to hikers who want a more supportive feel rather than a simple lightweight day sack.

Useful for hydration and accessories

• Hydration system attachment compatible with deuter Streamer 3.0, which is not included
• Straps for a helmet holder, available separately as an accessory

The hydration setup is useful if you prefer drinking on the move, but the reservoir itself is not supplied. Helmet holder straps are also built in, although the holder is an optional accessory.

At 36 L, this backpack gives you a bit more room than a smaller day pack, so it suits hikes where you need to carry extra layers, food or kit without moving into a full expedition pack.
