This Gutsdoor camping cookware set brings together the basics needed for outdoor meals in one nestable kit. It is designed to pack down neatly, which helps keep a backpack or camp box more organised, and the included travel bag makes it easier to carry between the car, campsite and trail.

• 1 soup spoon

Materials and everyday use

The cookware is made from hard anodised aluminium with a non-stick surface. The listing says this helps with heat transfer and makes cleaning easier, and that the utensils are non-toxic. A sponge is included for cleaning after use.

How it fits into camp cooking

The set is built for compact storage, with the pieces nesting together to save space. That makes it easier to carry for backpacking, hiking, group cooking and other outdoor use where packing size matters.

The orange finish also makes the set easy to spot among other camp kit, which can be handy when gear is shared or stored together.

Things to keep in mind

• The set is aimed at portable outdoor cooking rather than home kitchen use.
