A rugged, adjustable dog backpack for bigger dogs, with balanced load design, spine support and a padded handle for trail use.

The Kurgo Baxter is a dog backpack made for bigger dogs that join you on walks, hikes and outdoor trips. This Big Baxter version is designed for dogs in the 50 to 100 lbs range, with a balanced load design and eight adjustment points to help achieve a more secure fit.

It includes ergonomic spine support and a padded handle, which are useful when you need a bit more control over your dog on uneven ground or when lifting assistance is needed. The overall build is aimed at trail use and everyday outdoor movement rather than casual wear.

What stands out on the trail

• Balanced load design to help the pack sit more evenly on your dog
• Eight adjustment points for a more tailored fit
• Ergonomic spine support for added structure
• Padded handle for control and handling
• Durable construction suited to outdoor use

Before you choose it

• Best suited to larger dogs in the stated weight range of 50 to 100 lbs
• The fit depends on getting the adjustment points set correctly, so it may take a little time to dial in
