PETZL Bug climbing backpack, Red/Orange, 18 L

Compact 18 L climbing backpack for single-day multi-pitch routes

A compact 18 L climbing backpack designed for single-day multi-pitch routes, with organised storage and features that help keep it stable while you move.

The PETZL Bug is a small, streamlined backpack made for single-day multi-pitch climbing, with a shape that aims to stay compact and ergonomic when you need freedom of movement. The 18 L size keeps the pack focused on the essentials rather than bulk.

Storage that suits climbing days

Inside, there is space for a hydration system or laptop, plus a wallet pocket and a topo pocket at the back of the pack. A large exterior pocket gives you somewhere to keep items you want to reach quickly.

Built to stay secure on the move

Two side compression straps help keep the load close to your back. There is also an adjustable strap for attaching a rope to the top of the pack, along with an adjustable sternum strap to help stabilise the pack while climbing.

Durability where it matters

The bottom and sides are lined with high-strength material for added durability in the areas that are most likely to take wear.

The red and orange finish gives the pack a clear, distinctive look, and the unisex design makes it suitable for a wide range of climbers.
