Primus Essential Camping Stove System, 2.3 L Set with Pot and Pan

Primus Essential camping stove system with 2.3 L pot

An all-in-one gas camping stove set with a 2.3 L pot, pan lid and built-in burner for simple camp cooking.

This Primus stove set brings together the burner, pot and pan in one compact cooking system for camp meals. The 2.3 L size is the larger version in the range and is described as suitable for 2 to 5 people, making it a practical choice for shared cooking at camp.

The built-in burner is designed to sit within a windscreen, which helps protect the flame from breezy conditions and keeps heat concentrated under the pot. Primus states that this can help cooking run more efficiently and reduce gas use. Setup is kept simple: remove the pan from the windscreen, connect the gas and light the stove.

What is included

• 1 x windscreen with built-in laminar flow burner
• 1 x gas hose
• 1 x 2.3 L aluminium pot
• 1 x lid / frying pan with non-stick PTFE coating
• 1 x pot gripper
• 1 x nylon storage bag

How it is designed to be used

The aluminium pot is anodised and the frying pan doubles as a lid, skillet or heat-retaining cover while water boils. Primus also says the system can boil 1 litre of water in under 4 minutes, although real-world results will depend on conditions and fuel setup.

Gas is not included.

Points to keep in mind

• The set is built around gas cooking, so you will need a compatible gas supply separately.
• The 2.3 L size is aimed at shared camp cooking rather than solo meals.
• The pan works as a lid as well as a frying surface, which helps keep the kit compact.
