Deuter Trail 22 L Via Ferrata Hiking Backpack, Marine-shale

Deuter Trail 22 L hiking backpack for via ferrata and day walks

A 22-litre hiking pack with a secure fit, easy-access storage and attachment points for via ferrata use.

This 22-litre Deuter Trail pack is built for hikers who want a secure carry, straightforward access to the main compartment and practical details for via ferrata days. The Marine-shale colourway keeps the look understated, while the pack’s layout focuses on comfort and easy organisation.

Fit and carry comfort

The Aircontact Contact Back System is designed to help with load transfer and a balanced, secure fit. A movable ActiveFit shoulder strap adds to the wearing comfort, and the hip belt can be stored away in the side pocket when you do not need it.

Storage and access

The traditional panel-loader design gives you convenient zip access to the main compartment. For smaller items, there is an external zip pocket with a key clip, plus extra-tall stretch mesh side pockets to help keep contents secure.

Built with via ferrata use in mind

Carabiner attachment points on the shoulder straps are there for the rope-climb set. The pack also has a hydration system attachment for the deuter Streamer 3.0, which is not included.

Rain protection

An included raincover is stored in a zippered pocket at the base of the pack. The cover is made with bluesign approved fabric and treated with a DWR finish made without PFAS.
