Fire-Maple FMS-X2 compact camping stove system in orange

Compact all-in-one gas stove system with electronic ignition, a pot adapter and a built-in tripod stabiliser for outdoor cooking.

The Fire-Maple FMS-X2 is an all-in-one gas cooking system designed for outdoor trips where pack size and simple setup matter. It combines the stove and cooking pot into a compact unit, with the stove base, stove body and a 230g gas tank stored inside the pot for easier carrying. The gas tank is not included.

Built for compact packing

When folded, the system measures 133 x 205 mm, and when unfolded it measures 254 x 265 mm. It also comes with a travel bag, which helps keep the pieces together when you are moving between camp, trail and vehicle.

Useful features for outdoor cooking

• Electronic ignition for easier lighting
• Fold-out plastic tripod stabiliser for use on uneven ground
• Pot adapter included so you can use other pots or mess tins
• Made from stainless steel and aluminium

Where it fits best

This kind of stove system suits camping, hiking, backpacking, trekking and similar outdoor cooking use. The listing also mentions hunting, fishing, picnics, BBQs, beach trips, travel, climbing and cycling, so it is aimed at a broad range of outdoor activities.

Efficiency note

The manufacturer states that the system can boil 0.5L of water in 100 seconds. That is a claim from the listing rather than an independent test result, so it is best treated as the brand’s own performance figure.

Because the gas tank is not included, you will need to source a compatible 230g gas tank separately before use.
