Gregory Kiro 28 day hiking backpack in Alpine Black
A lightweight 28-litre day hiking pack with a flexible hipbelt, reservoir compatibility and trail-ready storage.
The Gregory Kiro 28 is a lightweight day hiking backpack built around a 28 litre capacity and a body-friendly fit. At 53 cm high and 0.81 kg, it keeps the profile compact enough for day walks while still giving you the storage and organisation you need on the trail.
Fit and carry comfort
The CloudControl hipbelt is designed to flex and move with your body, with soft, stable support. Gregory also uses a perforated 3D foam backpanel with gradient printed mesh for breathable comfort, plus a wrap-over shoulder harness with connected yoke design and sternum strap.
The sternum strap includes an integrated safety whistle, which is a useful detail for hillwalking and quieter routes.
Storage for day hikes
Access to the main compartment is through a drawcord opening. For smaller items, there is a top zippered trail pocket, a zippered side pocket with key clip, and a side stretch mesh bottle pocket with angled entry for easier reach on the move.
The pack also includes an internal hydration sleeve with a SpeedClip hydration hanger, and it is compatible with Gregory Hydro reservoirs. The reservoir is not included.
Trail-ready extras
Low-profile trekking pole attachment points are built in with top and bottom elastic cording. There is also a raincover included in a dedicated zippered pocket under the top lid, helping keep the pack organised when the weather turns.
360° reflectivity, reflective attachment loops and reflective printing add visibility from more angles.
